Associate in Fine Arts - Art (AFA) College Transfer Degree

Begin your art career at Mitchell Community College by earning an Associate in Fine Arts in Art degree. Our program prepares you for transfer to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree. Learn from award-winning artists and teachers in such diverse media as drawing, painting, design, photography, sculpture, ceramics, print-making, computer illustration and videography. Small classes ensure you will have close interaction and personalized instruction challenging you to grow as an artist.

 

The Department of Art hosts six exhibits each year, providing students with opportunities to learn from and work with regionally acclaimed artists.
