2021 Commencement 

Mitchell Community College will hold a virtual graduation ceremony on Friday, May 14, 2021. The pre-recorded ceremony video will be viewable on this webpage beginning at 6 p.m. 

The virtual graduation will include traditional graduation remarks and feature guest speaker North Carolina Community College System Office President Thomas Stith III. Individual videos will recognize students by their credentials earned. Graduates will be called alphabetically in each category. 

The ceremony video links will remain on the website through June 30, 2021.  Students will be able to download the video and a printable program for their personal keepsake. 

Graduation Yard Signs

Pick up your sign at your convenience in the Mooresville Campus lobby (newly renovated building) or in the Eason Student Services Center on Statesville Campus, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates

Degrees, diplomas and certificates will be mailed to graduates before June 30, 2021. Graduates, please ensure your mailing address on file is correct for fastest delivery. Questions about mailing addresses should be directed to records@mitchellcc.edu.
