The Huskins program is a partnership between Mitchell Community College, Iredell-Statesville Schools and the Mooresville Graded School District. The Huskins Program provides high school juniors and seniors with the opportunity to take free college courses taught by Mitchell Community College instructors at the community college level while remaining in high school.

Huskins Students

Through the Huskins program, high school students are provided the opportunity to earn both high school and college credits while in high school. These courses are specifically scheduled for high school students to fit into their regular school day.

Huskins provides students with an opportunity to get a taste of college life and rigor while still living at home with parental guidance. Huskins allows students to earn advanced undergraduate degree credits, provides accelerated time to college degree completion, and is an academic confidence booster. Best of all – Huskins provides free college tuition!

If you have questions about the Huskins Program, please contact Tara Cashion at (704) 978-5441.
