MCC's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) "Math Rules" is designed to enhance student learning by showing how we use math in our everyday lives. Through a series of hands on, contextual teaching and learning activities, math is made "real" by connecting classroom concepts with relevant life experiences. Contextual teaching and learning activities help students make connections between math and their everyday lives as family members, citizens and workers. Through such activities, students are encouraged to learn together and from each other.
