Step 4. Apply for Financial Aid
Apply online at the FAFSA website. As you complete your FAFSA, be sure to list Mitchell Community College (Federal Code 002947) in step six. If you file taxes, The IRS Data Retrieval Tool should be utilized. You and/or your parents can apply for an FSA ID to "sign" the FAFSA electronically, and complete the process online.
IMPORTANT! Once we have received your processed electronic student aid record from the Department of Education through your FAFSA submission, Mitchell's Financial Aid Office will email you an award notice, provided you have completed both the financial aid and admissions application processes. If you do not have a complete file, you will receive a Document Tracking Letter informing you of additional items needed to complete the financial aid process.
