Art Club – emphasizes an awareness of the importance

Cosmetic Arts Society – Serves to unite in a common
bond the students enrolled in cosmetology classes and provide a channel of
information, activities
and to promote development of leadership abilities through participation
in educational, vocational, civic, recreational, and social activities. (Advisor:

Criminal Justice Association – is an
organization for students interested in the field of criminal

Early
Childhood Association – serves as a forum
for student opinion dedicated to resolving and discussing
early
childhood issues. The club conducts service projects for
the college and community in the field of early childhood.

an organization that promotes and encourages advancement
in the human services
field addressing mental health issues and community service

Phi
Beta Lambda – is an award winning national
organization for business students. They actively participate

Phi Theta Kappa – is a National scholastic honors
fraternity for community college students. Membership is based on excellent

Science Club – is open to all students interested
in science. The club sponsors field trips, fundraising activities and speakers.

currently enrolled nursing students. The association promotes
the professional standards of nursing and emphasizes the
importance of involvement in professional organizations past

Circle
K – a college organization affiliated with
the Statesville Kiwanis Club. Students assist with the Tar
Heel Classic Horse Show and the Iredell County Fair. Membership
dues for active participants are paid by the Kiwanis Club

Diverse Expressions – is an organization designed
to enhance and encourage written and spoken artistic expressions.
It is dedicated to reaching the community though spoken words,
lyrics, short stories, poetry, etc in order to facilitate
mental and spiritual growth as a means to help people make

Ebony Kinship – is an organization
dedicated to providing positive cultural and social activities.
They
sponsor numerous campus events and fundraising projects
