Career and College Promise Application Procedures

FOR ALL CCP APPLICANTS:

Any Summer or Fall 2023 CCP Applications received after February 28th either in -person, scanned, or via mail will be processed in the order they are received. While applications will be accepted until May 19, 2023 for Summer 2023 and August 1st for Fall 2023. Any late applications are not guaranteed to be processed in time for students to register in the priority period of registration for that semester.

Note: Application packets typically take three weeks to be processed. Students cannot register until the completed packet (application, transcript, qualifying test scores, home school verification record [if applicable]) has been received and processed.

 

Testing
If your unweighted high school GPA is below 2.8 and you have not met any other testing score requirements, you may be permitted to take the college placement test. 

Public and charter school students, you must meet with your Career and College Promise contact to get permission to test. All others should meet with a CCP contact (below) at Mitchell to obtain a test admission slip. 

Plan to test early. Testing appointments fill quickly, especially near registration times. 

High school students will not be permitted to take the placement test without a signed permission slip.
