Submit your completed application, official test scores, official high school transcript, and home school verification record (if applicable) to:

Amanda Rhea
Mitchell Community College
500 West Broad Street
Statesville, NC 28677-5264

Note: Application packets typically take three weeks to be processed. Students cannot register until the completed packet (application, transcript, qualifying test scores, home school verification record [if applicable]) has been received and processed.

If you have not taken one of the Career and College Promise approved placement tests or have not met the minimum scores, you may take the NC DAP placement test at Mitchell Community College.

Public and charter school students, you must meet with your Career and College Promise contact to get permission to test. All others should meet with Amanda Rhea at Mitchell to obtain a test admission slip.

Plan to test early. Testing appointments fill quickly, especially near registration times.

High school students will not be permitted to take the placement test without a signed permission slip.
