Digital Media Technology

The Digital Media Technology program at Mitchell Community College prepares students for professions in graphic design, web design, and animation. The primary focus is placed on the aesthetics of design and ability to apply the principles and elements of design across mediums, which sets our students apart when entering the workforce.

Articulation agreements with 4-year institutions allow graduates with an Associates of Applied Science to transfer into specific majors at articulated universities. This gives our students the opportunity to continue their education without retaking unnecessary courses. The ability to take 2 years of college at Mitchell Community College and transfer to a 4-year university as a junior provides families the option to save a great deal of money–in some cases, depending on school–as much as $25,000.
