Join BIO 111 on Tuesday, April 25, for a Supervillain Genetics Presentation at 1 p.m. in the Sara Tice Building, room 305, on the Mooresville Campus.
Many superheroes and supervillains come about due to a series of changes, or mutations in their genetic sequence (DNA). With this knowledge, these BIO 111 students were tasked with creating their own supervillain based on course objectives. This includes the selection of two genes with mutations that actually exist in real life. In a series of lab activities, students performed intense research on their chosen genes to culminate in the creation of their Supervillain.
During the presentation, students will dress up as their actual Supervillain. Please consider supporting these students and their project!
