Congratulations on your upcoming graduation from Mitchell Community College!
The 2018 graduation ceremony will be held Friday, May 11 at 7 p.m. on the Circle in front of the Main Building.
Graduation rehearsal will be held on campus on May 11 beginning at 9:30 a.m on the Circle.
Graduates should report to the first floor of the Vocational Building by 6:00 pm on Friday, May 11, 2018. The Ceremony will begin at 7:00 pm sharp.
Following are important things you need to know prior to the ceremony:
The cost of the cap, gown and tassel set will be $32.32 plus $2.18 tax=$34.50. The set may be purchased from the Bookstore beginning Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
The Bookstore’s regular hours are as follows:
Monday through Thursday – 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday – 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. with no evening hours
Although you have until 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 10 to purchase your cap, gown and tassel set, please do so as soon as possible so that you can be sure the size is correct and, if not, exchange it if necessary.
Graduation announcements and diploma frames will be available for purchase at the College Bookstore beginning Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
Class ring information and sales: There will be a Herff Jones sales representative on the Main Campus in the College Bookstore on Tuesday, April 10 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Graduation status depends upon the completion of courses listed on your application for graduation.

FOR SPECIAL ACCOMODATIONS ONLY - If you or a family member need special accommodations, please contact Linda Heiland at (704) 878-3364 so that arrangements can be made prior to the graduation ceremony. There will be a designated area for the family member and one additional guest.
Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 graduates can pick up their degrees beginning Monday, June 18, 2018. Please bring photo ID. 2018 Summer graduates will be notified when degrees are ready for pick up after completion of Summer Semester 2018.
