Mitchell announces new partnership with GWU
On Wednesday, January 16, dignitaries from Mitchell Community College and Gardner-Webb University (GWU) formally signed an articulation agreement for the associate in general education and select associate in applied science degrees.
Attending the signing from GWU were Dr. Benjamin Leslie, Provost; Dr. Elizabeth Pack, Dean of Adult and Distance Education; and Dr. Rusty Graham, Director of Community College Partnerships. Mitchell dignitaries included senior administration, board members, faculty and staff.
Along with existing articulation agreements for the associate in arts and associate in science degrees, this new agreement opens doors for students to continue their studies and earn additional credentials. “GWU has a history of providing innovative educational opportunities,” said Vice President for Instruction Dr. Camille Reese. “We are very excited about the expanded options for our student to continue on for advanced degrees!”
