Using learning styles as a guide, participants and faculty select methods to broaden assessment, communication, psychomotor and cognitive skills within a safe environment. Replicating the essential aspects of a clinical situation allows participants to more readily understand and apply skills and judgment. Blending of low and high-fidelity simulations approximates what the participant’s may encounter in practice. Participants are given the opportunity to enhance skills in a realistic learning environment, which can be transferred into safe practice.
