The Write Place: Mitchell's Writing Center
Get the help you need with any writing project for any class. Whether you need help getting started, clearing a hurdle in the middle or concluding the process,The Write Place can assist you. Our professional writing coaches will work with you one-on-one, focusing on your individual writing goals.
Walk in and get help on a first-come, first-served basis or make an appointment that works with your schedule. Be sure to bring your syllabus, assignment guidelines and any work you have completed.
Locations & Hours - Fall 2022
Statesville Campus – Huskins Library, First Floor
Monday: 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Tuesday: 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Wednesday: 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Mooresville Campus – MIND Center (Building A, Room 093)
Monday: 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Thursday: 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Both campus locations can accomodate face-to-face and virtual appointments.
Virutal Appointments Only
Friday: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Use the above link to access WCOnline, our scheduling service. The first time you use the service, you must register. Once you are logged in and can see the schedule screen, you can use the drop-down arrow at the top to choose Statesville or Mooresville locations. Find the day and time you want and simply click on that time, fill in the requested information and save the appointment.
