Registrar, Records & Recruitment Information

The Office of Student Records is located in the Eason Student Services Building – 107 on the Statesville Campus. Our office assists students with processing transcripts, grading processes, enrollment and degree verifications, address and name changes, and withdrawals. The Office of Student Records is also responsible for certifying students have fulfilled graduation requirements, orders diplomas, oversees the Commencement ceremony, evaluates transcripts, and processes course substitutions.

Our office is dedicated to maintaining the integrity of all student records, as outlined under the Academic Policies section of the College Catalog. Also, Mitchell Community College complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 which provides students access to review their records and restricts the disclosure of such records without written permission from the student. Additional information regarding FERPA may be found at the US Department of Education FERPA Website.

Again, welcome to Mitchell Community College! We look forward to helping you Prepare to Excel

Sincerely,

Betsy Patterson, Registrar

Juliana Nleya, Student Records Specialist

Degree and current enrollment verifications, as well as transcript requests, are handled through the National Student Clearinghouse.

*Please note for enrollment verifications that verification of future terms is not possible, for example requesting a fall enrollment verification during the summer semester.

*If you need an unofficial copy of your transcript please email records@mitchellcc.edu. Please include in your email a copy of a photo id.
