The Center for Simulation Education provides an interactive environment where participants are encouraged to ask questions and participate in active, hands-on learning. Simulation is used to assess and evaluate the participant’s skill acquisition, and ease the transition between lab and clinical practice. CSE utilizes Kolb’s Experiential Learning Theory, whereby knowledge is created through the transformation of experience. Simulation scenarios mimic the practice learning environments and assist the participant in developing problem solving and decision making skills which will enhance their lifelong learning process.
